Vintage 1940s Art Deco Ceramic Storage Container with Lid - Soft Orange Ombre Finish

This gorgeous art deco storage container has a beautiful ombre finish that starts in a deep mauvy orange and moves to a lighter orangey-beige as it ascends down the jar. I absolutely love the art deco design of this lidded jar, simple yet timeless, and packed with character. This lidded jar is ceramic and shows signs of wear consistent with age, like crazing across the surface. Additionally, there are a couple small chips around the top brim of the container and a small chip on both, the top and bottom of the lid (along the top and bottom rim) - see listing photos for examples of the chips you will encounter with this piece. The little chips that are present do not take away from the function and only add to the overall character. No cracks. A highly functional vintage accent that can be used in any room of the house. Functional vintage accents are a personal weakness of ours here at Specter&Ashe and we're also big fans of the art deco era. Vintage and antique items are pre-owned and aged goods. In most cases, we do not clean or polish any items that come into our shop. Once you remove an item's traces of age and patina it's not something you can reverse, so we leave those activities up to the buyer. SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
