Vintage Set of Two Cast Metal Bronze Painted Duck Boxes - Made in Japan

You will receive both duck boxes with the purchase of this listing. The weight of these suggests they are cast iron in construction. The exterior is painted a bonze shade and each duck box looks hand forged as they are both slightly different sizes with non-uniform finishes. Research indicated these are vintage in age and date to approximately the early Mid-Century. We did encounter research describing similar boxes (with the same markings) as antique but did not uncover enough information to support that age range. They are heavy in weight and packed with vintage character. Each duck box is in vintage condition with patina and marks of age. See listing photos for most accurate description on condition. The insides of these boxes are black and both of them have "JAPAN" embossed on the bottoms. A great vintage accent that can be used to store small items anywhere in the home, studio or office.

SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
