This great vintage canister has such an awesome design. A sliced apple with additional abstract fruit decorating the inside. We absolutely love the colors of this canister with its bold ocher yellow and excellent neutral tones. This canister has a copyright date of 1964 and was made by Los Angelas Potteries. This could be used for storing things like, snacks, k-pods, tea bags, drink mix pouches, or granola bars. Outside of the kitchen it could really be used to store anything that will fit. It could serve as a catch all change jar on the dresser, for storing remotes in the living room, or for storing bath salts or bath bombs in the bathroom. A really great mid-century canister with excellent character and endless functionality. No chips, cracks or breaks anywhere on the canister but it does have notable crazing. There is one deep crazing mark on the top of the lid (up close in listing photos) that looks like a hairline crack, but upon close inspection it is just a deep crazing mark.
