  • Details
This is a really beautifully matted and framed series of 1800s poets in order from left to right:

    William Cullen Bryant (1794-1878)
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
    Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. (1809 - 1894)
    Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882)
    John Greenleaf Whittier (1807 - 1892)
    James Russell Lowell (1819 - 1891)

The matting and frame are original to this series of photos but the backing paper and hanging wire on the back of the frame have been recently replaced. The frame is antique and worn but remains in stunning and sturdy condition with no major flaws to note. This would be an absolutely perfect piece for your antiquarian library or an incredible addition to a gallery wall. I think this would also be perfect for an antique inspired kids room.
