You will receive both bento boxes with the purchase of this listing. These antique Meiji era Imari Porcelain Jūbako Blue flower stacking boxes are smaller and would have been used for sweets. We estimate these to be around the late 1800s in age or early 1900s. They are both in great antique condition and they can still be used for food, but they would also make excellent accessory and trinket storage boxes. They are perfect for the living room end table, bedroom dresser, kitchen or bathroom to store all of your small keepsakes or supplies. Both boxes show signs of antique age and wear with scratches fading and marks of age but no chips, cracks or breaks on either box. The lids do not secure snugly closed but set on top of the containers. A really beautiful set with beautiful age, character and design.
