Antique Italian Alabaster Tazza - 9" Diameter - Pedestal Compote - White with Black VeininD

A stunning antique Italian Tazza made of white Alabaster with black veining. The perimeter of the compote bowl has delicate leaf carvings all the way around. The pedestal of the compote has two fish that spiral upwards from the base all the way to the compote bowl. A really beautiful piece with no major disclosures to note. Minor signs of age via knicks and scuffs, but no chips, cracks, or breaks. The pedestal shaft shows signs of mild discoloration from age as expected with antique alabaster. These gorgeous compotes were traditionally used as part of a tablescape for dining and serving. This particular compote was sourced from the United Kingdom.

As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
